Sketch #'s 11 &12

Well, the printer and I sat down and had a come to Jesus meeting and it is now functioning properly.

So now, I'm trying to get caught back up.

Sketch #11 is a really quick sketch that I of and idea for a painting (I can assure you I'm MUCH better at blending and texture with paints than I am with colored pencils.) It's inspired by a quote from Albert Einstein...

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."

Sketch #12 is based on the silhouette of part of my head. I wear my hair in a pixie cut and sometimes it can look a little unruly...especially this time of night. The goings-on in my head can get a little unruly as well...
