Sketch #16

I finally got out of town this last week and I was able to get some art supplies. A brand spankin new set of water colors was among them. Today was a chance to play. I haven't sat down and seriously painted in years and taking the opportunity to do so today was like a breath of fresh air for my soul.

This was done while I was listening to the album Rules by The Whitest Boy Alive. The scanner kind of washed some of the colors out a bit. They have much more depth to them in real life.

Also, I feel like I should mention this song, since I've been listening to it a lot this past weekend.



Ben Folds is one of my all time favorite artists. Combine him with Jack and Nataly of Pomplamoose and Nick Hornby and you get pure awesome. The album that Ben Folds and Nick Hornby collaborated on is awesomesauce. This song is on it. Enjoy. :)
